Health Check-up Camp at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College

A health check-up camp was conducted for the children of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Kailash Nagar, Mathura in association with “Gaon Connection”. Gaon Connection is a foundation established by renowned RJ and Singer Neelesh Mishra.

Gaon connection is celebrating swayam festival across 25 districts of Uttar Pradesh under which they are targeting 7 lakh people through 1000 events. This health chekup camp at SVM Inter college is also one of those event. The camp was conducted by a team of 10 members of Nayati Hospital, Mathura. The 10 Team members of Nayati hospital including Dr. Karunesh (Physician) and Dr. Avneet (Dentist), Community outreach head along with program managers and buddies reached SVM Inter College at 10:00 Am. Principal of school welcomed the team with warm heart and discussed various issues of health regarding school children with doctors. 

Buddies team started registration of students and recorded the height and weight of students. A total of 220 children turned up for the Health check-up. Dr. Karunesh and Dr. Avneet provided consultation to every students and advised medicines and tests to children in need. Health Check-up of students was finished at 3:00 PM. 

A feedback session with the school principal and staff is also conducted at the end. In this Dr. karunesh said that there are signs of poor nutrition and eye problems in some of the students while Dr. Avneet said that the students are suffering from stains and calculus in teeth which should be avoided by brushing twice a day. At the end Mr. Vivek Dave gave thanks to all the staff of school for their support in the camp. School Principal gave vote of thanks with a formal summing up of the health camp. He also gave an appreciation letter to the team for the kind efforts.
