Report on Govardhan Camp

Back Ground of Gavardhan Yatra

Govardhan also called to Giriraj Mountain descended its name from the Holy Goverdhan Hill. It extends up to 4 or 5 miles and has many sacred sites. Govardhan is located in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, 208km from Delhi. It is one of the main religious places of Mathura.

Lord Sri Krishna is associated with several religious places in Mathura and Vrindavan. It is said that Lord Krishna held Govardhan Hill on his little finger to save the town from wrath of the god of rains Indra. There are many temples in this town Haridev Mandir, Daan-Ghati Mandir and Mukharbind. The temple god is another form of Lord Krishna. The town is also famous for its 21 kilometre long Parikrama of the very old hill called Govardhan. The parikrama procession is held in very high religious belief.

The town also houses Manasi-Ganga, a close-ended lake. This is another pious place for the devotees visiting this town. On the banks of this lake, there are quite a few temples, one side of the lake shore now houses a regular marketplace.

One of the most important day in Goverdhan is Guru Poornima (Also called “Mudia Poono”). On this day, Millions of devotees come to Goverdhan for parikrama.

 

Nayati Hospital Contribution during Yatra from 14th to 20th July    

Nayati decided to help devotees of Parikrama Marg   by providing medical assistance in terms of first aid, so devotees could continue their “Yatra” without any hurdle, for this purpose Nayati hospital prepared well and identified the center place where this medical back up  can set up & operate with more impact and influence for beneficiaries , all the essentials medicine arranged form hospital , ambulance wherein placed with prior permission  of local Government and staff those who can give their good contribution were identified and placed, major aspects of this camp was that our medical camp provided services 24 hours in all five days till the end of  “Yatra” our team worked day and night against all odd circumstances , Staff  name who has done  this commendable job

 

 

 

Some high light of Medical back up camp

  • One child was  referred to the Community Health Centre  through our ambulance accompany by Mr. Pradeep pharmacist  on 18th July, 16 in the morning  at Goverdhan due to very high fever and fits.
  • Patient Kamla Devi came with low B.P. 60/40 mmhg , high grade fever followed by vomiting. We have given IV Fluid at camp site along with Emeset Injection. Patient was feeling better after 2 hours she started partikarma after the treatment.
  • One patient came at camp site on 17th July, 16 at 12:300pm.  She was fallen down on the floor with chin injury due to low B.P 60/40mmhg. The same treatment was given to her and on next day she was feeling better.
  • Gopal ACMO has visited camp site and verified our data base. He was very happy and satisfied from our data maintenance and treatment which we are providing to the devotees during the Parikrama he also ensured that if we require any assistance from Govt side, they will provide us.
  • Between the camp our essential medicine were exhausted. We approached to ACMO about the shortage of medicine. Immediately he made arrangement from CHC.
  • Our team received a call from Mr. Arvind SO of Goverdhan Police Station around 5:30pm on 18th July, 16. He told me to send our ambulance at Radha Kund Police Chowki. He has not shared that there was a patient who had heart Attack. Nayati hospital Ambulance  reached in very short time a t Radha Kund ,  our team called  ambulance driver to know about the situation he informed  that there is dead body and he will sifted to their native place at Jhanjanpatti,
  • On 19th July, 16 team received a call from Mr. Arvind SO of Goverdhan Police Station around 4:00pm on 18th July, 16, again we have sent our ambulance at Community Health Center and bring one dead body from there and sifted to another ambulance at Goverdhan Chowk.
  • One patient coming with head injury due to electric shock. We have sifted to CHC.
