CENTRE FOR ORTHOPAEDICS, TRAUMA AND JOINT REPLACEMENT SURGERY
The Centre specialises in providing treatment for all musculoskeletal disorders – a one-stop facility for complete bone and joint care, providing solutions that vary from joint replacement to sports medicine, spine surgeries, trauma surgeries, deformities correction and rehabilitation. Nayati hospitals have a strong team of orthopaedic specialists, supported by facilities such as advanced operating rooms, recovery rooms and physiotherapy services.Subspecialities
Joint Replacement Surgeries
These are procedures wherein damaged parts of cartilage and bone are replaced with new, artificial components made of metal, plastic or ceramic. At Nayati, we specialize in partial and total joint replacement surgeries of the knee, hip and shoulder. Supported by advanced technology, our highly-skilled team of doctors ensure excellent surgical outcomes and speedy recovery.
Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery
Sports medicine deals with sports-related injuries, mainly in areas such as the knee, foot, ankle, elbow, shoulder and hip. One of our niche areas is Arthroscopy – a surgical procedure conducted for an injured joint. While most surgeries leave marks, the precision of our expert surgeons in treating injuries leaves negligible scars.
Injuries and Trauma
The two problems are becoming increasingly common due to the rising number of road accidents. Our orthopaedic teams work round-the-clock to take care of patients suffering from critical injuries such as pelvis and acetabular fractures, besides other grievous wounds. Nayati’s 24x7 trauma and emergency services are unmatched in the region. Facilities such as state-of-the-art modular Laminar Operation Theatres, modern radiology, imaging and ultrasounds support our teams in providing the best possible care to patients with critical, life-threatening injuries. The Department has also built an enviable reputation for its high success rate in performing corrective procedures rectifying previously-failed surgeries.
Spine Surgeries
This surgery is recommended when medication and physiotherapy fail to relieve symptoms of back pain caused by injury or ageing. Nayati’s orthopaedic teams are renowned for their expertise in spinal surgeries and post-surgery care. We also treat conditions such as fractures, prolapse of intervertebral disc and scoliosis.
Deformity Correction
Bone deformities can be congenital, acquired or develop due to certain health conditions or trauma. Deformities affect the organs and can cause pain if not treated in time. We specialise in deformity correction and, if needed, use the Russian Ilizarov technique – where an external fixation is done by a surgeon to lengthen or reshape limb bones, providing maximum health benefits to the patient.
Paediatric Orthopaedics
Nayati provides surgical and non-surgical treatment for all musculoskeletal conditions in babies, children and adolescents. Whether it is a simple fracture or spine deformity, our highly-trained physicians and therapists offer complete care. Common ailments such as dysplasia hip, club foot, knock-knee deformities and sports injuries are regularly treated at Nayati.
Rheumatic Disorders
Arthritis and other rheumatic disorders can affect the joints and the spine. With modern facilities such as laboratory investigations, Bone Scan and Digital X-rays, our teams can diagnose rheumatic disorders easily. We offer surgical and non-surgical procedures to treat inflammation in the hip, knee, hands or any other joints in the body, across age groups.
